Yep, I was so lookin for any kind of secret path leading outward but nothing that can be reached with your sword :-(
This is extremely well put together in terms of the level design and physics and whatnot, but it's the humour that really makes it.

some of you guys really have insane time, my current best is a mere 8:51.if I could get msot of the stuff done on the first try, I might be ablento shave of another minute or two.but a time of 4:16 or less?must be a very optimized run then! :O

try resting your sword on that slightly raised up portion then rotate it to the right to get up there
wiggles make you look smart tho
there is probably a way above with that length BUT you must do the wiggle - DS Master
